The storyboards for the second commercial aren't finished. Wen-Li is still drawing the final three frames. Priya Venkataraman [9:44 A.M.] Could we show only the first commercial tomorrow and present the second one next week? Darius Coello [9:46 A.M.] I don't think so. Their marketing director told us she wants to compare both ideas side by side before she chooses one. Priya Venkataraman [9:47 A.M.] Then let's ask Wen-Li to sketch the last frames roughly. Corvane Media to End Saturday Print Editions

[1] Beginning in January, Saturday news will be available only on the company's websites and mobile app. The print editions from Sunday through Friday will continue as before. According to Corvane's chief executive, Lorna Fitzwilliam, the change reflects how readers' habits have shifted. "Fewer than one in five of our subscribers still read the Saturday paper in print," she said. "Most of them read us on their phones over the weekend." [2] The company said that no jobs will be lost as a result of the change. [3] Staff who currently work on the Saturday print layout will move to a new team that produces video and audio reports for the websites. Print subscribers will see their monthly fee reduced by $2 starting in January. Hana Lindgren [10:02 A.M.]: Morning, everyone. The Kestwick Outdoor Gear campaign launches in three weeks. Where do things stand? Tomasz Wierzbicki [10:04 A.M.]: The billboard designs are approved. The printer needs the files by Friday, and that won't be a problem. Adaeze Okonkwo [10:05 A.M.]: The social media videos are another story. The client now wants to replace the background music in all six videos. Hana Lindgren [10:06 A.M.]: All six? They approved the music last month. Adaeze Okonkwo [10:07 A.M.]: I know. Their new brand manager doesn't like it. I've found three other tracks, but licensing any of them will cost about $1,800 more than we budgeted. Tomasz Wierzbicki [10:08 A.M.]: Shouldn't the client pay for that? It's their change. Hana Lindgren [10:10 A.M.]: Tomasz has a point. Adaeze, please send the three tracks to the brand manager with the extra cost clearly shown. If they choose one, we'll add the cost to their next invoice. Adaeze Okonkwo [10:11 A.M.]: Will do. I'll also ask whether they would accept a track from our own music library, which costs nothing. Hana Lindgren [10:12 A.M.]: Good idea. Let's talk again on Thursday.
